Sundowners at The Lawns
Join us for sunset drinks at The Lawns, overlooking Cape Town, as we begin the celebrations.
Time: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Thursday, the 31st of December
Beach Day & New Year’s Eve
Spend the morning at the beach soaking up the sun, then join us in the evening as we ring in the New Year together.
Daytime | Beach at Llandudno
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Note that parking at Llandudno is limited, so we encourage you to take rideshare or arrive early.
Dress code: Beachwear / swimming cozzies

Friday, the 1st of January
Rehearsal Dinner in the Vineyards
We’ll gather in the vineyards for the formal rehearsal dinner featuring a traditional South African braai, set against the Stellenbosch mountains and long summer light.

The Big Day
We’re getting married! We’ll start with pre-drinks in the early afternoon, followed by the ceremony and evening reception.
Time: 4 p.m. arrival for a 4:30 p.m. start

Transportation
We recommend renting a car for the days in Cape Town, however, Uber is also readily available. For the night of the 1st and 2nd of January we will have shuttles to and from the Devon Valley Hotel for guests. Please keep in mind, South Africa has a zero tolerance drinking and driving policy.
Accommodation
Across the wedding days we will be in Cape Town proper as well as Stellenbosch. For the 30th and 31st of December we recommend organizing your own accommodation in and around Cape Town as events will be near the V&A Waterfront.
For the evenings of the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, the 1st and 2nd of January, we have reserved a room block at the Devon Valley Hotel in Stellenbosch, only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The rooms are on hold until the 15th of May 2026. To book a room, please email Melissa (melissa@devonvalleyhotel.com) and note that you are booking for Nikita and Arthur’s wedding.
Childcare
South Africa is an amazing place for you and your children to explore. Unfortunately, most of our events are adults-only, but we will have childcare for you on the wedding day at the venue.
Additional Guests
We kindly ask that you follow details noted on your invitation. Children and plus-ones are invited only if explicitly listed. Thank you for understanding as we celebrate with an intimate gathering.
International Travel
If you are traveling from the US, there are direct flights from New York (United), Atlanta (Delta), and DC (United). Regardless, we recommend flying into Cape Town International Airport.

Cape Town is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, with so much to explore. Here are a few of our favorite things to do during any time outside of our planned events:
